This would mean the plugs wouldnt have matched up so he cut the wires and spliced them by hand. If it runs at all the cdi and the stator are good, as well as the coil. I hooked it all up and got to crank it over a few times. I was told it had a bad CDI. It is a no name one with one plug that matches the warrior but a few others that were cut and ran directly to the stator wires which also don't match a 88 stator wiring.
