Deerton natural burial ground. Our aim was to create an environmentally sensitive and gentle alternative burial service for families in their local area. There are a few Council owned corners of cemeteries that have been allowed to become natural or wilder areas as some District and Borough Councils started to recognise a niche that a few people sought. The site seamlessly merges into the local landscape now, looking much like the orchards that surround it. We have two beautiful burial grounds in the Swale area, planted to mirror the Find 4 memorial records at the Deerton Natural Burial Ground cemetery in Teynham, Kent. Deerton Natural Burial Ground is a beautiful and secluded area in the Kent countryside, an ideal location for a peaceful green funeral. Bodies are placed in organic (rotable!!) coffins, then buried with a tree marking the position of the grave (no headstones are allowed). We will do all we can to be of assistance. Funerals at Deerton and Riverview are bespoke: the choice of Deerton Our first site, Deerton, although sold out, is a wonderful way to see how our new site Riverview will look in a few years time.
