Oct 3, 2023 · I tried Dell's support but they were pretty useless, they told me that DDM wont work on non-dell desktops, despite the fact that on their marketing page for DDM it states that you can download for mac or windows, with no mention of anything to do with non-dell PCs being unsupported, quite frankly their support was a total waste of time. It is free. Completely separate concept. Dell support assist you will continue to have free use of either way.
